How do I get my files?
Right after checkout we email your order confirmation, with a download button for each item you bought. Nothing is shipped.
I didn't get the email.
Check your spam or promotions folder and search for “Linen & Ledger”. Still nothing? Contact us with your order number and we'll resend your link. See Download help for more fixes.
Can I download again later?
Yes. Keep your order confirmation email and use the same download button. If you lose it, contact us and we'll send it again.
What payment methods do you accept?
The payment options available are shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.
The spreadsheets
What do I need to use them?
Microsoft Excel (2010 or newer, Windows or Mac), Excel for the web, or a free Google account for Google Sheets. They aren't designed for Apple Numbers.
How do I open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets?
- Download the .xlsx file to your computer.
- Go to drive.google.com and choose New → File upload.
- Open the file, then choose File → Save as Google Sheets.
Can I use them on my phone?
You can view and make quick entries in the Excel or Google Sheets app, but setup is much easier on a computer or tablet.
Do I need spreadsheet experience?
No. Each file opens on a Start Here tab with plain-language steps. You only type in the sage-colored cells; everything else calculates for you.
Do they connect to my bank?
No. You enter your own numbers, so nothing is linked or shared.
Can I change the categories?
Yes. Rename, add or remove categories on the Setup tab and the rest of the file updates.
Bundles
How do bundles arrive?
As one .zip file. On a Mac, double-click it; on Windows, right-click it and choose Extract All. On a phone, it's easiest to download and unzip on a computer.
The Home Binder
What size is it?
US Letter (8.5 × 11 in). To print on A4, choose “fit to page” in your print settings.
Can I use it on an iPad?
Yes. Import the PDF into GoodNotes, Notability or any PDF annotation app. The contents page links to each section.
Refunds & licensing
What if a file doesn't work?
Contact us within 14 days of purchase. We'll help fix it, and if we can't, we'll refund you. Because digital files can't be returned, we don't offer refunds for change of mind. Details are in our refund policy.
Can I share or resell the files?
Our files are for your own personal use. Please don't share, resell or redistribute them or their download links. The free 30-Day Spending Reset guide may be shared as-is.
