Paycheck & Bills Planner — Biweekly Budget Spreadsheet
Stop wondering if this paycheck has to cover rent.
Most budgets are monthly, but most paychecks aren't. This planner lines up your bills against your actual paydays so you can see — weeks ahead — which check pays what, and when a tight one is coming.
What it does
- Automatic bill placement: each bill lands in the paycheck that arrives before its due date
- Left to spend for every paycheck, after bills and a savings set-aside you choose
- Shortfalls highlighted so you can plan for them early
- A full year: 26 paychecks and up to 40 bills
- Monthly bill checklist with due dates you can tick off
Good to know
Built for weekly or every-two-weeks pay. If you're paid twice a month on set dates, it works as a close approximation. Bills due on the 29th–31st are entered as the 28th so they're never missed.
What's included
- Paycheck & Bills Planner spreadsheet (Start Here, Setup, Bills, Paycheck Plan, Bill Checklist)
Format & compatibility
- One .xlsx file
- Works in Microsoft Excel (2010 and newer, Windows & Mac), Excel for the web and Google Sheets (free)
- Not designed for Apple Numbers
- A Start Here tab walks you through setup in plain language
